Local brewery plans fundraising running event for Denver

Runners and active community members will have the chance to lace their shoes and stretch their legs next month, as a running event is stopping in Denver.

The Firehouse 5K hosted and organized by Station 26 Brewing is scheduled to take place in a few weeks, and active community members are invited to participate. The fun run event will start and end at the Station 26 Brewery, creating a simple path for guests to follow. Each participant who completes the course will enjoy a complimentary craft beer from Station 26.

The event will double as a fundraiser, with half of the proceeds going to the Retired Firefighters Association of Denver. Participants will have start windows for the run at 10:00 am and 10:30 am, and are encouraged to dress for the weather. Banner printing is a fantastic way to create signage to welcome runners to the finish line for running events like this.

Along with the complimentary beer, attendees will receive a collector’s pint glass at the run’s conclusion. Door prizes will also be available to registered guests. Participants can expect food trucks and other vendors at the end of the run.

The 5K is scheduled for Saturday, April 13th, beginning at 10:00 am and ending at 1:00 pm. Runners are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before the start window. Tickets start at $35 and are available for purchase online.
