The Town Hall Arts Center in Denver is now presenting You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. With new safety protocols in place for the public, the historic theater is looking forward to welcoming attendees back.
Clark Gesner, Andrew Lippa, Michael Mayer and Charles M. Schulz are the creators and producers of the classic tale. The event is presented on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC and Concord Theatricals.
The famous “Peanuts” comic comes to life in this classic story. Presented in musical format, the audience will enjoy seeing bossy Lucy as she falls head over heels in love with Schroder, who is recognized in the comic as a piano prodigy. The maestro does not give Lucy any attention whatsoever. All the while, Sally, the perfectionist, continues to make fun of Linus for his blanket-toting. In the doghouse, we find Snoopy while Charlie Brown livens up the group with his antics.
Charlie Brown and his gang will experience everything from despair to wild optimism as they look at life’s perplexing questions, play ball, do homework, get involved in sing-a-longs, and talk about their current crushes. More importantly, they enjoy the joy and warmth of true friendship.
