What's Happening in Denver, CO…

Butterfly Pavilion returns to Denver area

The first accredited invertebrate zoo in the world, the Westminster’s Butterfly Pavilion, opened in May and is now available for the general public to enjoy again. The attraction is just a few miles from the Denver downtown area.

One the main attractions, Rosie the Tarantula, is now welcoming kids, parents, and friends back to the venue. The Chilean resident is from the Atacama Desert and one of the popular activities is the opportunity to pet Rosie. “Rosie Returns” tickets are available and are offering an admission discount, along with a stuffed animal version of Rosie.

Another favorite attraction at the pavilion is the Live Chrysalis Camera, which allows visitors to watch butterflies as they emerge in the Wings of the Tropics section.

Posters are often used at attractions to highlight features, programs, and sponsors. The poster printing can include images, content, agendas and directions to locations. Printing services are available to assist with creating any size and style of poster.

Summer camps have recently resumed at the Butterfly Pavilion. The experience explores the world of invertebrates in a hands-on program that extends through August. The camp is available to children ages 5-12.

The Butterfly Pavilion has extended hours to 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. While reservations are recommended, they are no longer required. The facility is located at 104th Ave in Westminster. More information is available via the organization’s website.
