Applied Energy Systems (AES) recently announced the acquisition of Advanced Research Manufacturing (ARM), Inc. of Colorado Springs.
AES designs, manufactures, tests, installs, and provides services in the field for gas systems, while ARM is a leader in the manufacture of gas handling equipment and gas purifiers of ultra-high purity. ARM’s bulk gas, micro-bulk, and point-of-use purifiers are in use throughout the world, and ARM’s many solutions to working with gas will now be made available through AES. This will enable AES to expand its products.
AES’s president, Steve Buerkel said that ARM’s technology will complement the existing range of products AES offers, allowing the company to provide better solutions at competitive prices. ARM’s equipment is already in use in pharmaceutical, medical, energy, semiconductor, and industrial markets both in the United States and throughout the world. These are the same markets where AES already operates, making ARM’s products a logical extension of AES’s efforts, according to AES general manager Jim Murphy.
ARM’s director of technology, Brian Warrick, said that combining the companies will enable them to conduct research and develop new products at a faster pace than ever before. When acquisitions such as this take place, companies have an opportunity to consider their Logo Design, and create something that reflects the new organizational structure and the image they wish to portray.
