A quarterly symposium held to inform residents and lawmakers is on the schedule near Centennial.
Eggs & the Economy is presented by the Common Sense Institute (CSI), which welcomes guest speakers to discuss issues that affect public policy. The meetings tackle the most urgent issues currently facing Colorado, and give experts working on these problems the chance to present current research. The meetings allow Coloradans and their lawmakers a chance to gather information needed to base their decisions on facts. The upcoming symposium will talk about homelessness, as well as the City & County of Denver ballot, which is upcoming. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create handouts for attendees.
CSI teamed up with CU Denver to conduct a three-phase project to help understand any problem, and how to implement solutions to the problem, while supporting those who are currently homeless. The meeting will discuss challenges the homeless face; systems that might be perpetuating the problem; and those working to solve it.
The second part of the meeting will be devoted to statewide initiatives that will appear on the next ballot including Enough Taxes Already; Let’s Do Better; Property Tax Assessment Rate Reduction and Voter-approved Revenue Change; and Learning Enrichment and Academic Progress (LEAP).
The symposium is set for September 17, from 7.30 am until 9.00 pm, at AMG National Trust in Greenwood Village, a short distance from Centennial.
