Major music stars coming to Centennial area

One of the legends of music is coming to Denver, bringing friends with her.

Judy Collins will be performing at the Denver Botanic Gardens, a short distance from Centennial, later this year, and she is bringing Jonas Fjeld with her, as well as The Chatham County Line.

Judy Collins has been entertaining people for over 50 years, as both a songwriter and performer, releasing 55 albums in her career. She embodies the idealism of the 1960s and continues to inspire fans to this day. Collins breakthrough came in 1967 with “Both Sides Now,” from her “Wildflowers” album.

A review of a live concert says:

“. . . not only does Judy Collins still have a great voice, she still has the energy and vitality to put on a great show!”

Fjeld, who was born Terje Lillegård Jensen, is a Norwegian guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist. His specialty is country rock, and he has recorded and performed with the Chatham County Line, with whom he recorded three albums, and who are also appearing at this concert.

Chatham County Line is a bluegrass band from Raleigh, North Carolina, who have found success throughout the local area and in Europe, including Scandinavia, where they teamed up with Fjeld.

Collins and her friends will be in Denver on July 15, beginning at 6:30 pm. Attractive and informative programs for this type of event can be created using brochure printing.
