A Centennial area golf tournament will see players get into the swing of things while they support the Colorado Veterans Project (CVP).
This will be the second year for the tourney, which is set to take place at Littleton’s Arrowhead Golf Course. It will be a friendly competition, with fun and laughter out on the links.
Those who are interested in playing through can register on their own or as part of a pair or foursome, and each registrant will be treated to 18 holes of golf, as well as a dinner buffet and ticket to enjoy a drink. There are special add-ons to help raise even more funds for the cause, and these include a golf ball cannon at one of the holes and $10 mulligans (second shots).
Along with the other fun on the agenda, a prize draw and silent auction will also take place. One of the prizes will be a bottle of 25-year-old Scotch whisky courtesy of the Glenlivet. Local companies that would like to get involved by donating items for the auction are encouraged to do so, and Corporate Gifts can be a good fit for this.
The CVP Let Freedom Swing golf fundraiser will be on offer on March 16. Player tickets start at $150 each, and questions about registering, sponsoring or volunteering for the event can be directed to info@coloradoveteransproject.org .
