Centennial class for parents and kids to attend together

Easter celebrations and special food often go hand in hand, and Centennial families will be preparing some of these during a parent-and-child cookery class.

The menu of dishes prepared in the cookery session planned for Uncorked Kitchen will include both sweet and savory items. It is intended to be an experience kids and parents can enjoy together, and it will help them to pick up some new kitchen skills.

The attendees will be making Easter Bunny cups featuring Oreo crumb “dirt,” as well as hot crossed brownies, crispy rice birds nest treats, and freshly made grilled cheese that will be served with chef-prepared tomato soup. Tickets for the afternoon are $69 each. If the class is sold out, those who are interested can still add their name to the wait list in case a spot opens up.

A class that combines hands-on learning with a chance to taste test the fruits of their labors can be a lot of fun for those who take part. Printed recipe cards, aprons, takeaway containers and promotional Pens are some of the products a printer will be able to prepare for an occasion.

This Easter cooking class will offer child-and-parent pairs a chance to enjoy some time in the kitchen on April 8. The class will begin at 3:00 pm at 8171 South Chester Street.
