Residents of Woodland Hills and the surrounding area will soon get to see movies for free in the park.
The movies will play for five consecutive Saturday nights at Warner Center Park. All of the films are popular family-friendly titles, and a concession stand will also help residents enjoy the movies, offering a full selection of snacks and drinks for movie-goers.
The series of movies, called Movies on the Green, will show five titles. The series starts out by showing ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’. There is parking in structures around the area for $10, or limited availability street parking.
The movie will be projected onto a 30-foot screen in Warner Center Park. There is no seating, so bringing a blanket or towel to sit on is a good idea. Low chairs are also permitted. The movie will start at dusk, which is around 8:00 pm, and will end at about 10:00 pm. Pre-show entertainment starts at 7:15 pm. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed.
The movies are all free, with no reservations required. The Valley Cultural Center will take advantage of banner printing to help advertise for the free movie series. Residents will also have a chance to see other popular films such as ‘Coco’ and ‘Black Panther’ during the series. The first movie will show Saturday, July 21, and the final movie will be on August 18.
