Next month, Councilman Bob Blumenfield will hold his annual free 4th of July extravaganza for Woodland Hills.
The bash will provide an opportunity for Woodland Hills residents to gather with each other for a celebration of the special day. The event will also benefit the Valley Cultural Foundation, a nonprofit corporation that serves the San Fernando Valley by promoting and providing live entertainment programs and art-related events.
The celebration has a previous reputation for having one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in Southern California, and this year, attendees will be treated to a full 20-minute fireworks extravaganza. There will be a section of the festival dedicated to arts and crafts vendors and local businesses promoting their goods. There will also be over 15 restaurants represented by food trucks or booths. The event will feature a free live concert by The Convertibles, a band of 12 musicians with dynamic vocals and a six-piece horn section.
Events featuring local vendors and businesses such as this one often provide an ideal atmosphere for the exchange of Business Cards.
The celebration is scheduled for July 4 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. It will take place at Warner Park on 5800 Topanga Canyon Boulevard, Woodland Hills. Admission is free, but parking fees will be collected to go towards the Valley Cultural Foundation.
