An Apache Kafka training course will be led by a live instructor at the TruVs building in Woodland Hills in late January, covering 12 hours in total.
This course will span a total of three weeks, six sessions, and two hours per session, offering recent graduates an opportunity to learn how to program in the open source platform of Kafka. It has in-depth lessons on Kafka Architecture, configurations, performance adjustments, and Hadoop integration, with demonstrations in real-time test cases.
The Apache Kafka training course features 12 hours of lectures, along with training materials and assignments provided by the instructor. Students will have access to helpful resources stored on the cloud. Students are given time to practice their coding skills during graded lab exercises, but will have script templates modeled after real-life scenarios to work from.
Participants will learn to install Kafka, understand end-to-end architecture, link Kafka to other applications, implement Kafka single node, and test their knowledge on a final project. IT professionals with experience in Java programming or Unix/Linux will have an easier time completing the training.
Kafka is the latest open-source data streaming platform, designed to process messages generated within milliseconds. It can be used to build data pipelines for publishing and subscribing to real-time record streams. It has the advantage of being able to run on multiple servers.
Printing services can make it more efficient to distribute course handouts or project outlines as necessary. Classes will begin on January 26, 2020, from 7:30 to 9:30 am.
