Candy-themed walkthrough to happen in Woodland Hills

Through this month and into the beginning of May, Woodland Hills families are able to enjoy Sugar Rush, a candy-themed, open-air walking experience through immersive art installations.

Operated by the same people that brought the holiday-themed immersive experiences of Hauntoween and Wonderland to Woodland Hills, Sugar Rush is an engaging, socially distanced walking experience through a 40,000-square-foot Candytropolis. Families will be able to enjoy live performances, art displays, and photo ops through six vast art installations. The event is open to all ages and is stroller- and wheelchair-accessible.

As it is an all-day event, guests are encouraged to bring along snacks, or even a lunch and dinner to enjoy in the Swing and Picnic Park after their walk is finished. Candy will be included in the ticket purchase.

The Sugar Rush immersion experience is currently open to the public until May 2. The venue is located at the Westfield Promenade at 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd. To adhere to social distancing guidelines, limited capacity will be enforced on each day of the event and purchasing advanced tickets is required. Ticket price ranges from $30 to $128, depending on family size. More information can be found on the Sugar Rush website.

Graphic design artists are often employed by organizers of such visually immersive events to create various art displays and provide a suitable atmosphere.
