Tribute to iconic band to take place in Santa Ana

A show honoring a legendary group is set for early December in Santa Ana.

The Iron Maidens are a group of women who came together to pay tribute to the long-running rock metal band Iron Maiden. The Maidens have themselves won several awards/honors for their act. Members include Linda “Nikki McBurrain” McDonald, Wanda “Steph Harris” Ortiz, Kristen “Bruce Chickinson” Rosenberg, Nikki “Davina Murray” Stringfield, and Courtney “Adriana Smith” Cox. Each has a unique background, bringing different elements of performance into the band. Several characters also make an appearance during shows, including Iron Maiden’s mascot Eddie, the devil, and the grim reaper.

Favorites and hits they cover span Iron Maiden’s entire career. Some of these include “Flight of Icarus,” “The Writing On The Wall,” “Transylvania,” “Running Free,” “Wasting Love,” and “The Trooper.”

Tickets for the Santa Ana performance cost $25 each, with an additional service fee of $3.75. These can be purchased through Ticketon, and can then be picked up at the venue with valid ID and the card used to make the payment. The venue is Stages Night Club. Merchandise with a graphic design for performing acts is often sold at similar shows.

The concert will kick off after the doors open at 5:30 pm on Saturday, December 3. A minimum age of 21 has been set for the event.
