A spooky and fun shopping event will be making its return to Santa Ana in early October.
Patches & Pins Expo is a combination of a shopping experience, music, competitions, food, and candy. The display sees more than 200 vendors and artisans join together for a day of sales and fun among the local community. Featured booths include Donnies Cap Con and Vintage Palooza. A few of the items that can be found in the market are collectible pins, iron-on patches, trinkets, sneakers, vintage pieces and toys.
The mission of even'st organizers is to give attendees the chance to support small and local brands, while also creating memories. Guests can go trick or treating, enjoy a live performance from hip-hop legend Warren G, grab a meal from one of the present food trucks, or watch and even participate in the pumpkin carving and costume contests. The costume competition, in particular, has a top prize of $500.
While general entry is free, there is a VIP offer available. For $45, buyers get an exclusive badge and pin, the ability to jump ahead of the entry line, a shirt which is limited edition, and a bundle of stickers. Flyer printing is a common use of promotional budgets for local markets like this one. Events will be running from 12:00pm to 10:00pm at the 4th Street Market on Saturday, October 7.
