The Floral Park Home & Garden Tour continues this year in one of Santa Ana’s older neighborhoods.
The event began in 1993, when Sandy DeAngelis opened her own home for viewing. Since then, the event has grown to encompass more than 200 gardens and homes. Attendees of this event come from across the United States, as well as Europe.
The festival is built on the varying architecture of this neighborhood. Built largely in the 1920s during a housing boom, these houses show a wide variety of styles. Included are many international styles as well.
Styles include Art Deco, Storybook, Hacienda, French Normandy, English Tudor, and Farmhouse. Many of these houses have been featured in publications and magazines such as OC Metro, The LA Times, Orange County Home, and Southern California Home and Outdoor.
This event offers attendees a chance to look at the houses up close, as well as tour the inside. It also includes a vintage car display, vendors, and food and drink. There will be a Street of Treasures, featuring antiques and collectibles. Food and drink vendors will be located in the area as well.
Events like this often take advantage of printing services to offer more to the attendees. Houses or gardens may have information available on the style of the house or architecture, and vendors may have Business Cards.
This event is currently scheduled, rain or shine, for April 27 and 28, running from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm both days.
