The Orange County Brewers Guild has formally announced the first annual OC Palate: A Beer & Food Event. This event was designed to showcase local breweries and chefs, highlighting talent in this area of Southern California.
This event focuses on pairing beer and food, and so will have a variety of each. There will be numerous breweries represented at the event, as well as several chefs, attendees will have an opportunity to speak with them in a more personal setting.
The event will be held at the Orange County Heritage Museum, located on Harvard Street in Santa Ana. There are multiple parking lots in the area, however they may not all be open to the public. Attendees should be cautious when parking.
The Guild has organized this event to help with their overarching goal of bringing public attention to local craft breweries. The guild is all about raising community awareness and showcasing the small breweries, especially since Orange County alone has over 37 breweries.
Tickets for this event are currently on sale for $100 each, and are only available to those 21 and older. The ticket grants each attendee unlimited small bites and samples of beer, as well as a commemorative glass to take home.
With all the craft breweries and local chefs at this event, they will likely take advantage of business card printing or possibly flyer printing, in order to have printed materials available for attendees to take home. This event is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
