Santa Ana hosts musician on the up

A rising talent is headed to a popular Santa Ana venue for a mid-October performance.

Jade Bird is a singer-songwriter with a sound that combines the folk, Americana, and rock genres. After her debut in 2017, Bird began working with Sheryl Crow and Brandi Carlile. Bird often chooses to help a local artist shine during her tours, selecting her openers from each stop’s pool of talent.

Her catalog includes powerful and personal tunes like “Burn The Hard Drive” (featuring Mura Masa), “I Get No Joy,” “Houdini,” “Love Has All Been Done Before,” “Lottery,” “Different Kinds of Light,” “You’ve Fallen In Love Again,” “Breaking The Grey,” “Trick Mirror,” “What Am I Here For,” “Uh Huh,” and “Something American.”

This latest tour will be Bird’s second of the year, previously getting out on the road during the spring. Tickets are sold through Live Nation. The room is general admission, so everything is listed at one value. “All-in pricing” is used for the concert, which gives buyers the cost with fees included, aside from taxes. The price is $27.50.

The show is being held at The Observatory’s Constellation Room. Many artists will offer Copies of their music and other merchandise with their Logo Design somewhere on it at a concert. The doors will open at 7:00 pm, with the event following at 8:00 pm on Sunday, October 20.
