Santa Ana event adds unique element to creative experience

A mid-November event in Santa Ana is giving attendees an exciting experience.

Freestyle Paint N Sip is an activity from The Healing Arts Gallery, and artists Kalim Quevedo and Jenna Sophia Wadsworth. Wadsworth started the gallery as a way to not only display her work, but also allow people to express themselves and unleash their own creative side. The gallery hopes to help people rediscover the creative passions they may have put aside or forgotten about due to the daily grind of life.

The event will allow every guest to craft a truly unique piece of artwork. Unlike many other events with a “paint and sip” concept, this one does not have a set image to be recreated. Each person is welcome to get some advice or encouragement from the event staff if they need help choosing a direction or learning a skill, but the goal is for everyone to embrace their individual style.

Tickets are available through allevents.in for $50 a person. Each ticket includes a canvas, as well as one drink at no additional cost. Options include wine, beer, and anything from the venue’s soda fountain. The venue for the event is The Pizza Press. A popular promotion technique for art activities, as well as activities held at local venues, is flyer printing.

The experience is taking place between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Tuesday, November 12.
