An event celebrating creators from various online platforms is set to take place in late June. This is sure to entertain Santa Ana residents.
VidCon is an international convention, for which the US edition is one of the more well-known. At this, gathering stars, companies, professionals in the media industry, and fans are able to meet others who share a common interest, and learn about the work and products that go into content creation.
Some of the content stars that will be present at the event this year include Stephen “Twitch” Boss, Azzyland, TunaMeltsMyHeart, Molly Burke, Jon Cozart, Chad Wild Clay, Charli D’Amelio, Derek Hough, Allison Holker-Boss, Crissa Jackson, RCLBeauty101, Steven Lim, Ryan Bergara, Shane Madej, Josh Scherer, Alyson Stoner, Makayla Did, and Nicole Enayati. For a full line-up, those interested can visit the convention website. Some of these celebrities will be allowing attendees to meet them as well, using what is known as a “Matchmaking System”. There are several options for this, two of which include a type of photo with the star. A full explanation of how these will work is also available on the website.
Tickets are $775 for an industry professional to attend all four days, while upcoming creators will have to pay $205, and attendees will be $145, or $135 for an adult accompanying a minor with their own pass. For just one day, fans will have to spend $55. Vendors will often have Promotional Products at conventions similar to this one. An “Expo Hall” will be set up for brands and other vendors to connect with a wider audience.
