Band to take second album to Santa Ana

A group that went viral with their first record is back again with the follow-up, and are bringing it to audiences on tour. One show will take place in the latter half of March in Santa Ana.

Pom Pom Squad is a grunge/pop-punk band fronted by Mia Berrin. Other members include Lauren Marquez, Shelby Keller, and Alex Mercuri. The debut album, “Death of a Cheerleader,” was released in 2021 and put Berrin and her bandmates into a totally new world as their popularity grew drastically.

Now, Pom Pom Squad has come back with a new project, entitled “Mirror Starts Moving Without Me.”

Amongst the group’s discography are tunes such as “Downhill,” “Messages,” “Head Cheerleader,” “Cherry Blossom,” “Honeysuckle,” “He Never Shows,” and “Cellophane.”

The Mirror Ball Tour will bring its party to the Constellation Room at Santa Ana’s popular concert venue, The Observatory. Caroline Kingsbury will act as the opening performer. The room used for the event is standing only, although there are provisions for audience members in need of ADA accommodations.

Tickets are sold through Live Nation and are priced at $27.50. Many artists will look for printing services to place their tour’s logo on merchandise sold during their performances.

The show is set to begin at 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 20. The tour moves on to Phoenix, Arizona the following day.
