A band known for artsy and experimental concerts is bringing their tour out to Santa Ana in late January.
Thumpasaurus has a roster including Ben Benjamin, Henry Was, Paul Cornish, Lucas Tamaren, Logan Kane, and Henry Solomon. The band has evolved since their 2015 start, continuing to advance both their sound and the visual elements of their shows, even sometimes incorporating their own lore/expanded world.
Last year saw the band reach international fame thanks to their song “Struttin’” going viral on social media and being featured in a TV commercial. A selection of their additional catalog includes “I’m Cute,” “Mental Karate,” “Lipstick Makeup,” and “World Is in Your Mind.”
Tickets to the Thumpasaurus tour are sold on Live Nation, using the site’s “all-in” price format. This means that the fees, with the exception of any necessary taxes, are included in the cost buyers see up front.
For the show at The Constellation Room, this price is $27.50. The tickets are all listed as “general admission,” and the venue doesn’t include any permanent options for seats. However, any concertgoer needing ADA accommodation will find a section for them within the space. Those needing help from the staff to get inside are asked to arrive at least 10 minutes ahead of the doors being opened to allow for easier and quicker entry. Musical performances commonly get promotion from flyer printing, and sometimes poster printing as well.
The experience is slated to start at 7:00pm on the 27th January.
