This January, Rockler Woodworking and Hardware will hold the Cabinetry Beginner Fundamentals class in Torrance, just minutes from Redondo Beach, for anyone in their looking to improve their carpentry skills.
Rockler Woodworking and Hardware is a nationwide hardware chain that also holds woodworking workshops and classes in its retail shops, ranging in level from beginner to advanced. January’s cabinetry class is designed specifically for novices wishing to learn basic techniques to help them rebuild their own kitchen cabinet.
The class will be a lecture-only workshop, led by an expert cabinetmaker who will demonstrate all the steps to cabinet construction. Attendees will learn box construction techniques and how to make a face frame and basic door. The class will also go over various installation topics. The class size is small and appropriate COVID-19 safety precautions will be in place. Masks will only be required if local ordinances at the time of the class require them.
