Torrance fundraiser celebrates 36th year

The Torrance Memorial Foundation is having its 36th annual holiday festival fundraiser, featuring over 36 different themes among an array of decorated Christmas trees.

At the Torrance Memorial Medical Center, organizers are celebrating the upcoming holiday season with a holiday festival charity event presented by Las Amigas. This festival is a recurring tradition originally founded in 1984 by the South Bay community. All proceeds will go to supply hospitals with state-of-the-art technology and endorse high-quality medical treatment for patients who need immediate care.

There will be live performances for the guests and other activities to keep the children entertained. Attendees can go clothes shopping at the biggest holiday boutique in the South Bay, to find some good discounts on jewelry and hair accessories. The kids will have a chance to eat lunch at the food court with Santa Claus. Afterward, patrons are treated to a fashion show displaying the most popular outfits in 2019.

Guests could also enter a raffle for the chance to win some giveaway gifts donated by the co-chair committee. This year’s fundraiser will be directed towards building the Torrance Memorial Hunt Cancer Center, a facility that combines multiple cancer treatment services. Corporate Gifts can help improve business relations between a charity organizer and a medical facility.

This charity event reflects the Torrance Memorial Foundation’s mission, which is to continue advancing healthcare treatments in the Redondo Beach area, and will last from December 3 through 8.
