Swing dancing event planned for Torrance area

Starting in June, Aaron Jacobs Production and the Automobile Driving Museum will host Summer Swing Nights Drive-in 2021 Edition in the Torrance area, only minutes from Redondo Beach.

Aaron Jacobs Productions first began the Summer Swing Nights in 2018 for the purpose of creating a swing dancing event that fully immersed the audience in the show. The Summer Swing Nights Drive-in 2021 Edition will keep to this style of interactive entertainment by hosting swing dancing classes prior to performances.

The actual performances will feature the Swing Tones, a vocal jazz ensemble performing to a live-7-piece big band. There will also be guest performers adding to the festivities. Past guests have included Phil Crosby Jr., Reggie Lee, and Judy Norton.

A portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting the Automobile Driving Museum, which was founded in 2002 for the purpose of collecting, preserving, and displaying historic cars. The Automobile Driving Museum will also provide several classic cars on display at the event.

The Summer Swing Nights Drive-in 2021 Edition is scheduled to begin on June 12 and will have two repeat events on in August and September. It will take place at El Camino College. Tickets prices range from $50 to $275, depending on the level of tickets purchased.

For events like this, poster printing may be useful in relaying event details in a visually effective way.
