Seaside crawfish and shrimp festival coming soon

Redondo Beach will host their inaugural Ragin Cajun Crawfish Jamboree in April. Crawfish and shrimp meals, shipped fresh from Louisiana, will be available for attendees to savor and enjoy.

Attendees will be drawn to vendor and food booths, which often use banner printing services of local Print shops to create colorful Banners which display the company name and what they are selling. Along with the featured Cajun favorites, many other food vendors will be on site selling meals and drinks, including beer and wine.

Musical acts will take to the stage throughout the day for everyone to enjoy. Among the acts performing are Lisa Haley and the Zydecats, The Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, The Hillbenders, a Dixieland Band, and Dead Man’s Party.

Families attending the event can bring their children over to the Kids’ Play Area which will have activities including Balloon Art, Magician Acts, a Bouncy Castle, a Giant Slide, and a variety of games. The play area is sponsored by MyGym.

A 50/50 raffle will also be held to raise money for the American Cancer Society. The raffle will be hosted by the Ragin Cajun and will feature items donated by local sponsors.

The Jamboree will take place this Saturday, April 6 at the Seaside Lagoon, 200 Portofino Way. The event will take place from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. The tickets prices vary from $20 for general admission up to $2,500 for a VIP Cabana.
