Photography buffs will have the chance to learn from renowned Canadian Nikon Ambassador Michelle Valberg at her photography event in the Torrance and Redondo Beach area next month.
A Canadian Geographic Photographer-in-Residence as well as Nikon Ambassador, Michelle Valberg has traveled worldwide to capture stunning and intimate portraits of diverse subjects. During her Revealing the Soul Within event, she will hold three presentations guiding attendees through her creative process and artistic vision. One of the presentations will be offered both online and in-person, while the other two will be in-person only.
The first presentation, which is the hybrid option, will be the Nikon Technology Talk and will discuss the Nikon Mirrorless cameras and their dynamic range, impressive auto-focus, and accurate color and metering. The second presentation, In Control Portrait Shoot, will teach how to manage subjects, lighting, and background. The third presentation, On the Fly Portrait Shoot, will go over how to take successful spontaneous photos of locals.
Revealing the Soul Within with Michelle Valberg is scheduled for November 7 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The in-person presentations will take place at Paul’s Photo at 23845 Hawthorne Boulevard, Torrance. The first presentation is free, while the second and third each cost $99.
