Redondo Beach residents interested in Broadway and dancing should note that Fred Astaire Studios is hosting the On Broadway Annual Showcase Dance Extravaganza in December.
Fred Astaire Studios is a chain of dance studios founded by the dancing legend Fred Astaire to share his dancing techniques with the public. Started in New York, the franchise now spans across the United States and the world. The On Broadway Annual Showcase will occur at Redondo Beach’s studio and will be a two-in-one event comprised of a musical show and an awards ceremony for the studio’s student dancers.
The event will feature a cocktail hour for guests to mix and mingle before the show. After the performance, attendees will enjoy dinner and have the opportunity to participate in social dancing. At the end of the evening, an awards presentation will be held for the Fred Astaire honor students of the year.
The On Broadway Annual Showcase is slated for Thursday, December 10. The show will begin at 7:00 pm with a cocktail hour beforehand.
