In August, The Teen & Single Mother Resource, Inc. will host the SHE OWNS seminar, part of a homeownership program for single mothers, for any Redondo Beach residents interested in attending.
The Teen & Single Mother Resource, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is provide holistic support programs to help single mothers, primarily from ages 18 to 34, achieve self-sufficiency. One such program is the SHE OWNS program, a homeownership program that aims to help single mothers navigate the complexities of homeownership.
Taking place in nearby Torrance, the three-hour seminar will introduce women to the SHE OWNS program, including what it is and how it works. Attendees will be able to listen to success stories from other single mothers who have achieved homeownership. Budgeting tips, down payment assistance, and individual credit analysis will be provided. CEO and Founder of the organization, Dr. Michele Vaughn, and Senior Division President Tammy P. Moore will be the keynote speakers.
There will be a $25 cover charge for attending, which will cover food, supplies, and mortgage pre-approval review for all guests.
The SHE OWNS seminar is slated for Saturday, August 7, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The venue is located at 23670 Hawthorne Boulevard, Torrance.
Such seminars often utilize brochure printing to create material for attendees to take home with them.
