Gala to fund surf camp for kids with autism

Next month, the Local Autism Warriors Gala 2025 will take place in Redondo Beach to raise money for surf camp for children with autism.

The Surfers Healing Foundation was founded by Izzy Paskowitz, former longboard champion, and his wife, Danielle, after their son was diagnosed with autism. Drawing from their experience with the ocean and comparing its unique, unexpected nature to that of living with autism, the couple created the concept of a surf camp specifically designed for children with autism. The foundation offers camps locally, nationally, and internationally.

The Autism Warriors Gala has returned for its second year of raising money for the Surfers Healing Foundation. This year, the gala will fall along a psychedelic theme, and there will be live musical performances from the band Legion of Minglewood. The event will also feature a gourmet dinner, drinks, photo ops, and raffles to win trips, tickets, top brand products, and prizes from local businesses.

Fundraisers that offer raffles and giveaways may partner with local sponsoring businesses, and can offer Promotional Products to give away in exchange for free advertising.

The fundraiser gala will take place on Saturday, April 5 from 5:30 pm to 11:00 pm. It will be held at Redondo Beach Elks Lodge #1378, which is located at 315 Esplanade, Redondo Beach. Tickets are $50 per person.
