Black Business Women Rock (BBWR) will hold its 11th Annual Farewell Conference and Expo next month near Redondo Beach to celebrate the achievements of women-owned businesses and female entrepreneurs.
BBWR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides educational resources and motivational support to women with both newly launched and established businesses. The organization’s mission is to accelerate the career growth and success of these women by providing workshops, seminars, and events programming, such as this event.
The Farewell Conference occurs each year to look back on the past year’s achievements of the organization itself and of the women it helps. Conference organizers invite women and men who are passionate about entrepreneurship, business, and empowerment. The event will feature expert speakers, panel discussions, a pitch competition, and business resources. The keynote speaker will be the founder and CEO of BBWR, Dr. Natalyn E. Randle. Entertainment will include live music and vendors selling related products. Attendees will also enjoy some networking time to establish connections with their peers and exchange Business Cards.
The conference will take place on Sunday, September 11, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The venue will be the Torrance Marriott, which is located on 3635 Fashion Way in Torrance, only three miles from Redondo Beach. Conference admission is priced at $65 per person.
