The Redondo Pier Association has announce the 2019 Summer of Music concert schedule. All concerts are free and will be held at the Redondo Beach Pier.
The concert series will run from Thursday, July 4 through Saturday, August 31. After the first concert on July 4, the annual fireworks display will take place at 9:00 p.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a comfortable low-back chair or a blanket to enable them to enjoy the show without obstructing the views of others. Most of the concerts will be held at the west end of the pier, behind Tony’s. A few will be held on the Boardwalk, below Kincaid’s.
Musical acts at each concert may proudly display their Logo Design and will perform a variety of genres, including indie rock, blues rock, soul, and classic rock. for those ready for some nostalgia, on Thursday, August 8, The Beatunes will be on stage performing their Beatles tribute. Thursday, August 15 will see Live From Earth present their tribute to Pat Benetar and on Thursday, August 22, Like Zeppelin will be on stage performing music from Led Zeppelin.
The last performance of the series will be on August 31, with Dark Desert Highway closing the series with their tribute to the Eagles.
The concerts are presented by Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital and Redondo Pier Association. The full concert schedule is available on the Redondo Pier website.
