The Oakland Running Festival event has been scheduled for spring of 2015.
According to the event’s website, it has been officially noted as “on the map” as it has been recognized across the nation as the race to participate in within the Bay Area by Competitor Magazine.
Corrigan Sports is managing the event and has the process in place for easy registration. The City of Oakland welcomes the participants as people arrive and enjoy the beauty and diversity of Oakland.
Established in 1991, Corrigan Sports Enterprises has a goal of creating and implementing sports within the community, including the event marketing. Many corporate sponsors participate in the Oakland Running Festival, including Highland Hospital and 21st Amendment Brewery.
Several activities are part of the festival aside from the marathon, with the Kaiser Permanente Half Marathon, Bank of the West 5K, Hawaiian Airlines Team Relay, and specially designed events for children among the attractions.
Local Print companies will be available to assist with printing projects, such as flyer and poster printing. The Posters can be used to communicate the festival across many regions by being hung on flat surfaces in high-traffic areas.
