Oakland to host wellness festival open to all

Oakland residents are no strangers to public celebrations, and an upcoming festival represents a way to usher in the warmer months of the year.

The 2026 Oakland Carnival Wellness Festival is a multifaceted event intended to celebrate the diverse culture that has come to represent the community over the years. It will feature a kaleidoscope of unique attractions suitable for the entire family. Some of these include a fundraising party known as the Joy Drive, a carnival winding its way throughout Mosswood Park, dancing, music performed by live DJs, and a costume contest.

Sponsors include the City of Oakland, the San Francisco Foundation, the East Bay Community Foundation, the California Arts Council, and the Kenneth Rainin Foundation. A portion of all proceeds will support charitable causes.

Organizers that host events related to charity will often use cost-effective marketing techniques. Some practical examples include mass brochure printing, asking local volunteers to hand out Flyers, and creating time-sensitive social media pages.

The 2026 Oakland Carnival Wellness Festival will be taking place on Saturday, June 6 throughout the day. The exact itinerary can be found by visiting the official website. All events are taking place within Mosswood Park located at 3612 Webster Street. While free to attend, guests are welcome to make onsite purchases or make a donation to the cause.
