Oakland Zoo offers trip to Kenya

For those who have a trip to Africa to see and learn about its wildlife on their bucket list, the Animal Care staff at the Oakland Zoo are offering a chance to make it a reality.

This 12-day October excursion has been described by its organizers as being the “trip of a lifetime,” and it will visit three different national parks in Kenya. The activity is part of the Zoo’s safari schedule, which typically offers trips twice a year.

Registrants for the safari will begin their experience at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park, after which the tour will take a short flight to Samburu National Reserve. The final stop will be Masai Mara, a park considered one of the best areas for viewing wildlife in Africa.

The package price starts at $11,000 per person, which does not include the flight to Nairobi.

Tour operators, travel agents, and others in the hospitality industry often make good use of the services of a brochure printing company. They can prepare materials that help to showcase a location and all it has to offer, as well as Copies of group tour itineraries and information packets for the registrants.

The Oakland Zoo Wings Over Kenya safari adventure be from October 18 to 30. More information for those who would like to secure their spot is available on its website.
