Oakland kids will soon be abuzz with wonder when they attend a nature-based learning activity.
Bees, butterflies, moths, birds, wasps, and even bats are all helpful pollinators, and they will be the stars of the show during the Family Nature Adventure Amazing World of Pollinators workshop. It will take place in the redwood forest at the Chabot Space and Science Center, and the registration fee starts at $15.00 each.
The morning will give all of the attendees an assortment of experiments, and the kids can sit for a story. They will discover what makes pollinators so important, and there will be instructors on hand to encourage the younger guests to explore the world around them. A light snack and forest walk will round out the occasion.
While attending an outdoor learning session, kids may appreciate receiving a set of coloring sheets and activity Books, so they can keep busy and learning once they have left for home. Area Stationery printers can prepare these for such occasions.
The venue for the workshop is located at 10000 Skyline Boulevard, and admission per family is $25.00.
The Chabot Space and Science Center will also be running its Amazing World of Insects and Helpful Pollinators installment on November 11th.
