Local Oakland artists make their presence known this autumn

Oakland will soon be hosting Art Clash; an event intended to showcase the works of local up-and-coming artists. Sponsored by the Bay Area Mural Program, this festival will also generate proceeds that can be channelled back into various non-profit organizations.

Art Clash is slated to feature a wide range of artists from Oakland, and throughout the Bay Area. Some of these include Anthony Jiminez, Angel Jesus Perez, Jamiani Shante Gray, Lizzy Kramer, and Joaquin Tinh. They will also be displaying works in progress, offering a way for guests to obtain up-close-and-personal views of the creation process.

While onsite exhibitions represent the main attractions, visitors can enjoy additional amenities. Live music, works of art for sale, and cocktails are available to all.

Events associated with art will often use visual marketing techniques to advertise what attendees can expect. Common strategies include flyer printing, banner advertising, and Brochures.

Art Clash will be held on Wednesday, October 8 from 6 PM to 8PM. BLOC 15 located at 252 2nd Street is the hosting venue. The event is open to all ages, and paid parking is available. Tickets cost between $60 and $75 per person. These can be purchased at Eventbrite and similar online distributors. Refunds are permitted up to seven days before Art Clash, and it is wise to confirm reservations in advance.
