Foodies invited to explore Oaklands culinary side

Oakland boasts eateries to suit any taste budget and occasion, and a culinary tour that will explore the establishments that make up its Rockridge Neighborhood is accepting reservations for its upcoming winter schedule.

This walking tour will visit many stops as it winds its way through the community, and as it will be a three-hour activity, sturdy walking shoes are recommended. It will offer a deep dive exploration of local history, and give both visitors and locals alike a chance to learn something new.

This guided tour will stroll along at a gentle pace, and architecture and other points of interest will be enjoyed along the way. The group will stop at the participating establishments to sample some of the area’s flavors, and they will all receive printed guides and other Promotional Products that can be helpful to those who wish to continue to learn more about what makes the community special.

Tickets for the tasting tour are $69 each, and a VIP upgrade is also available. This will include both a wine program, specialty margarita and tote bag with a unique graphic design, and these perks are an additional $15.

The organizers of the Rockridge Oakland Food Tours are accepting bookings for these Sunday experiences. The ticket holders are asked meet up at 6310 College Avenue before they set out for the tour.
