An Oakland area street fair will soon be making its return, and this celebration of life’s eclectic side will be open to one and all.
This year’s How Weird Street Faire has been scheduled for late September. It was originally planned for May, and those who purchased tickets for its ordinal date will not need to have their passes reissued.
The theme for the day will be “Autumn Equinox,” and it will be filled with music, art, dancing, and costumes. Nine stages of entertainment will be in the mix, and the How Weird Marketplace will be the place to be for those on the hunt for a strange and quirky souvenir of the occasion. Food trucks and local eateries have been invited to take part.
According to the event listing, the festival has been an award winner in the past, recognized by SF Weekly and USA Today, and its organizers are hoping this installment will be just as much fun.
