The last stage of a running race is stopping in Laguna Niguel next month, and residents are invited to watch and support the runners in their pursuit of medals and records.
The TEN racing event is running the last leg of the racing event in a few weeks, and a local high school, JSerra Catholic, will be the host. The previous race featured three national records from British and US runners. Eilish McColgan set a British record in the last race of 2023, while Alicia Monson set the American record by ten seconds.
The TEN is an event geared toward competitors running in a variety of distances and giving their all to pursue medals and records. Area runners are encouraged to attend to support top runners worldwide in their journey toward glory. The race will also pit rival runners against each other to determine who reigns supreme. Fierce competitors Joe Klecker and Woody Kincaid will go head-to-head on the track for the audience’s entertainment, with each hoping to get the best of the other again.
The 2024 iteration of the TEN race will be held on Saturday, March 16th, with the first race beginning at 4:00pm. The event will continue until 10:00pm, and space is limited for spectators. Tickets are available online for $10 per person.
