Laguna Niguel residents looking for a career in project management may consider hitting a classroom for a few days in June.
More businesses across all sectors are adopting a project-based model, which means project managers are in ever-growing demand. According to research at the Project Management Institute, the profession of project management in the United States is expected to grow by a whopping $6.6 trillion in 2020 and generate more than six million jobs, although this research was compiled before the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The four-day course offered in Laguna Nigel is for an entry-level certification called a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). Its designed for junior project managers who are looking to advance in their careers, or team members who want to showcase their skills.
Students who complete the course will receive an internationally recognized CAPM, which can lead to higher salaries and better career advancement. It also gets the student one step closer to the highest attainable accreditation, a Project Management Professional (PMP).
