Laguna Niguel vegans and those who may be considering a plant-based diet in 2020 may consider a short trip up to Santa Ana for the Orange County Vegan Fest.
The event is put on by a group called Vegan Village and features more than 25 vendors selling everything from vegan meat substitutes, all types of foods and flavors, desserts and music. There is also ethically sourced clothing and crafts.
The idea of veganism has been growing more popular in California and around the world as more people turn away from meat and dairy in favor of more carbon-friendly diets. Indeed, there is a vegan market called The Vegan District on the first Saturday of every month Long Beach from noon to 5:00 pm.
Vendors at markets such as these can use printing services for Menus, Brochures, and Business Cards to hand out to customers.
The Orange County event is free and family-friendly, and is one of many events scheduled for Vegan Village in 2020. The group is also holding 2.22, California's first vegan hip-hop festival on February 22.
The Orange County Vegan Fest takes place Sunday, January 5 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Yost Theater parking lot, 253 East 3rd Street in Santa Ana, just across the street from La Santa Modern Cantina - northwest of Laguna Niguel. There is free parking around the neighborhood or motorists can use the 4th Street Market parking lot.
