The Personalized Medicine Coalition (PMC) will hold an event in Laguna Niguel at the Ritz-Carlton.
The 17th Annual Personalized Medicine Conference is a program where scientists, business executives, and policymakers can meet and discuss important industry-related topics. Many professionals will attend the event, such as Amy P. Abernethy, Karen Tumulty, and Adam Schechter. There will be multiple opportunities to network with other guests at the conference, and guests will be treated to breakfast and lunch on both days of the event. The convention will conclude with closing remarks from Edward Abrahams, the president of the PMC.
Many important discussions will take place at the conference. Lauren Silvis and Scott Gottlieb will give a presentation on the past, present, and future of personalized medicine. Other topics covered at the event include paying for personalized medicine, creating personalized medicines, and patient perspectives on medicine. The winner of this year’s Award for Leadership in Personalized Medicine is Bonnie J. Addario.
The conference will be held on November 30th and December 1st. Those who are part of the PMC can pay $1,000 to attend the event, and non-members who are part of an academic, government, or nonprofit organization may pay $1,500. People with employers who do not fall into the above categories can attend the conference for $2,500.
