Laguna Niguel to hold asset management forum

The Futures Industry Association (FIA) and The Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) will be holding a forum at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel.

The Asset Management Derivatives Forum 2022 is an event where investing professionals can meet with others in their industry while discussing the latest developments in their field. There will be multiple panels during the forum covering topics like the state of the derivatives markets, diversity, and global issues. Several networking breaks are scheduled throughout the conference. People who take part in forums like this can bring Business Cards to exchange during networking opportunities.

The FIA was first formed in 1995 and was originally called the Association of Commodity Exchange Firms. The organization’s initial purposes were to discuss issues, represent public customers, increase education efforts, and study how to reduce costs. The group operates several offices around the world in locations like Brussels and London. There are more than 350 companies that have become members of the FIA from over 50 countries.

The asset management forum will take place from February 7 to 9. Registration is open to members of the FIA and non-members. The price for those in the FIA will be $1,560, while non-members must pay $1,995. People who register earlier than January 21 will get a discount. The rate for regulators will be $425 instead.
