Laguna Niguel set to open new community center

After months of construction, the highly anticipated Crown Valley Community Center is set to open in the coming weeks, as construction crews put the finishing touches on the new building.

Construction began in August 2019, after a ground-breaking ceremony in July. The project is one of the largest ever undertaken in Laguna Niguel. The community center is a 30,000 square-foot, three-story space containing staff offices and rooms that residents and organizations can rent for special events.

The new facility also features an art room, fitness/dance room, collaborative tech room, commercial kitchen, dining room seating 300 people, and multipurpose classrooms. There is also a new change-room area and classrooms for the pool, plus a patio on the facility's roof overlooking the pool.

The Grand Opening will begin with civic officials conducting a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a day-long celebration. There will be classroom demonstration, tours of the facility and prizes and giveaways. There will be a live concert in the amphitheater in the afternoon.

Officials from the Parks and Recreation department will be on hand to distribute information on summer classes at the center and will provide information about renting the facility. Information such as this can often be created with brochure printing services from local Print shops.

The Crown Valley Community Center Grand Opening is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The center is located at 29751 Crown Valley Parkway in Laguna Niguel.
