The Laguna Niguel Family YMCA will be holding a 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ 1 Mile Run in July to benefit the organization.
The Annual Laguna Niguel Family YMCA Run in the Parks is a fundraiser and community tradition that helps raise money for the YMCA Scholarship fund. People who take part in the event will receive a photo, medal, and admission to the activity’s expo. The race will be held at Laguna Niguel Regional Parks, and guests are allowed to bring their pets to the fundraiser. Water stations and post-race bananas are provided to attendees.
There will be multiple sponsorship packages available for those looking to support the YMCA. The prices range from $500 for a Mile Marker sponsorship to $10,000 for the Title Sponsor tier. The benefits of sponsoring the event include logo and name recognition, two free entries in the race, and a complimentary vendor booth on race day. Organizations with stalls during athletic activities such as this may offer promotional Pens to visitors to engage with the public.
The event will be on Monday, July 4, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. The current registration cost is $40 for the run/walk and $20 for the kids’ mile run. Prices for both events will increase after Tuesday, May 31. Registration will close on Wednesday, July 1.
