The Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology will be holding a post-graduate class in July at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel Hotel.
The Mayo Clinic Diagnostic Imaging Update and Self-Assessment course is designed for practicing radiologists and fellows-in-training. The main instructors for the class will be Frederick Chen and Marina E. Giurescu. Physicians will be eligible for continuing medical education (CME) for completing the program. Attendees will get to review state-of-the-art imaging techniques and take part in self-assessment modules. People can also listen to discussions about brain tumors, headaches, and pancreatitis.
Guests will be taught many important lessons at the post-graduate course, such as identifying the differences between lymphoma and other entities, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) safety considerations, and the recent advances in procedures that use nuclear medicine. There are several presenters at the conference this year, such as Melanie Caserta, Joseph Cernigliaro, and David DiSantis. Students will have breakfast at the start of the courses and will be given time to have refreshments.
The Mayo Clinic Diagnostic Imaging Update and Self-Assessment class will be held from Monday, July 11 to Friday, July 15. The price for physicians to take part in the lesson is $1,250. Registration fees for the program include tuition, a comprehensive syllabus, breakfast, refreshments, and a welcome reception. Educational groups that coordinate conferences such as this may use brochure printing to give students a helpful guide for the event.
