The City of Laguna Niguel is marking its 30th anniversary by throwing the largest carnival of the year.
The Laguna Niguel 30th Anniversary Carnival runs for three days this month with live entertainment, an amusement park, and food.
Laguna Niguel was incorporated as a city in 1989. It has been growing ever since.
The carnival is so big it has three dedicated Facebook pages for each day of the event so that visitors can keep track of what is going on.
There will be a main stage featuring live entertainment all three nights, with Elton John and Journey tribute bands, as well as a variety of rock and country acts.
There will also be a secondary stage with local acts and children’s shows.
Admission is free, however attendees are required to buy tickets for the more than 13 rides and games.
According to its website, there are sponsorship opportunities still available. Events like this can be a perfect opportunity for local businesses to raise awareness of their brands and their products with banner and poster printing.
The Laguna Niguel 30th Anniversary Carnival runs Friday August 16, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday August 17, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday August 18, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The carnival takes place near the Chet Holifield Federal Building, on El Lazo and Dorine. There is plenty of parking in the area and the carnival will also offer bicycle racks.
