International Festival to take place in Aliso Viejo

The 13th Annual International Festival to be held by Soka University is taking place this year in early May. With Soka University less than 5 miles from Laguna Niguel in Aliso Viejo, the festival promises to be a great way for families here to spend a Saturday.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view roughly 900 dancers and musicians spread out on three stages. Additionally, the festival will have more than 250 business, craftspeople, and non-profit exhibitors present.

For children, a play area with a Bounce House and a Superslide will be available, while adults will enjoy art exhibitions and demonstration. A wide range of international foods will be available for purchase, and a variety of business and non-profits will offer items for sales as well.

Parking on campus costs $10 and the university asks that those who attend the International Festival carpool to ensure there is plenty of room. They are also requested to have the correct amount of cash on hand when parking to keep lines moving. Credit cards cannot be accepted.

Events such as this one are more often than not paid for by selling booth spaces and by selling access to advertising space for sponsors. The level of sponsorship provided determines whether a company's name is displayed in a flyer or if a banner printing service provides them with a larger splashier display.

On May 3, the festival, which is free to attend, takes place from 10:30 am – 5:00 pm.
