Fortune magazine has revealed its Most Promising Women Entrepreneurs of 2014, who will be attending the Most Powerful Woman (MPW) Summit here in Laguna Niguel.
The theme of this year’s summit will be ‘The New Connected Leadership’, and will include panel discussions, breakout sessions, and one-on-one interviews. Prior to the conference, attendees will no doubt want to contact their business card printing service to take full advantage of the networking opportunity and the chance to be around respected businesswomen.
Fortune started compiling its yearly lists of powerful and up-and-coming businesswomen in 1998, and continues to seek out those displaying innovation and determination in their sector. Women in business are joined by select women in philanthropy, government, education, and the arts to discuss a wide range of topics.
This year’s class of Most Promising Women Entrepreneurs was whittled down from 150 applicants nominated by members of the community of Most Powerful Women and Fortune readers. Judges have chosen 10 who founded companies ranging in revenue from $1m to $25m.
The 2014 Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit will take place October 6 to 8 at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Speakers will include such well-known names as Warren Buffet, Goldie Hawn, and Billie Jean King, as well as many high level executives who are less well-known outside the business world.
