Dana Point mayor addresses issues of his term

A new mayor, John Tomlinson, was recently selected by members of the City Council of Dana Point, just a short distance from Laguna Niguel, and was asked to share his thoughts about the issues of most importance to the city.

His top priority is to continue the momentum that has so far been achieved with the Doheney Village Revitalization Plan, which is bringing new life to a neighborhood that has historical significance and is strategically important to the city.

He is also looking to revitalize the Dana Point Harbor. This is project that has been in the planning phases for a long time and he will be working with 5th District Supervisor Lisa Bartlett to bring it to fruition.

His plans for his one-year term include having meaningful dialog with government leaders in the region, residents in the community, and other stakeholders in the community to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the city. Many new businesses have come to the Town Center, which has recently been refurbished and invigorated, and he is looking forward to the continued success of the center and all its businesses.

Tomlinson may want to use one of those businesses that specializes in printing to create Flyers and mailers with more information about his plans for this term. These can be distributed and mailed to people in the community.
